Automation and custom software for Delta’s industrial and port businesses

Delta moves goods: through Roberts Bank, Tilbury, Annacis Island and the greenhouses and farms around Ladner. FusedAI builds the integrations, dashboards and tools that keep the data behind that work accurate. We are remote-first and do not have a Delta office.

Delta at a glance

Doing business in Delta

Delta covers three distinct communities — Ladner, Tsawwassen and North Delta — and a lot of working land between them. Roberts Bank, at the city’s western edge, is home to the Deltaport container terminal and the Westshore coal terminal, and BC Ferries’ Tsawwassen terminal is next door. Industrial areas at Tilbury and on Annacis Island hold manufacturing, food processing, warehousing and distribution.

Agriculture remains a major land use. Delta has extensive farmland and large greenhouse operations, many of them growing vegetables for markets across North America.

For businesses like these, the technology problems are mostly about data moving between parties: shipping documents, purchase orders, production schedules, compliance records. Small errors are expensive, and much of the work is still done by hand. That is where automation and well-built internal tools do the most good.

Local industries

Where this work fits in Delta

Based on the city’s economy — not a list of past clients.

Port logistics and transportation
Trucking companies, container yards and forwarders serving Roberts Bank exchange constant updates on bookings and pickups. Dashboards and automated notifications can replace a lot of phone and email traffic.
Manufacturing and food processing
Plants at Tilbury and on Annacis Island manage orders, production runs and traceability records. Integrations and internal tools help keep those records complete without extra admin.
Greenhouse and field agriculture
Growers coordinate crews, shipping schedules and buyer orders that change daily. Simple scheduling tools and order dashboards bring that information together.
Local retail and services
Businesses in Ladner Village, Tsawwassen and North Delta rely on local customers. A clear website and accurate listings still do most of the work in bringing them in.

Example scenarios

What a project could look like

These are illustrative examples written for Delta businesses, not client case studies. Every real project is scoped with you first.

Example 01

A trucking company tracking container pickups

Dispatchers check terminal systems and update customers by phone. A small dashboard that pulls appointment and status information into one view — and emails customers when things change — could save hours of calls a week.

Example 03

A greenhouse grower sending weekly availability

Every week someone builds an availability sheet by hand and emails it to buyers. An automated report from the grower’s own records — reviewed and sent with one click — could save that time and cut errors.

How it works

Working with FusedAI from Delta

FusedAI is a remote-first, owner-operated studio. There is no Delta office or local team — the person you talk to is the person who builds your project, wherever you are in Canada.

  1. 01

    Video call

We talk through the problem and whether we are a good fit.

  2. 02

    Written proposal

Scope, milestones and a fixed price for the agreed work.

  3. 03

    Shared previews

You click through progress and give feedback as it is built.

Not sure where to start?

Describe your business to our AI assistant. It suggests realistic options — including when AI is not the answer — and can draft a project brief you review before sending. It is an AI, not a person, and it does not quote prices.

FAQ

Questions from Delta businesses

Can you read data from shipping documents and PDFs automatically?

Yes, with care. AI extraction handles varied layouts well, but it can misread values, so we always build a review step where staff confirm the extracted data before it goes into your system. Over time, the review gets faster as the extraction is tuned.

We use an older system that has no API. Can you still help?

Often. Many older systems can export files on a schedule or let us read from a database safely. If the only option is fragile screen-scraping, we will tell you and suggest alternatives before you commit.

Do you build EDI integrations?

We can work with EDI data that your trading partners or an EDI provider already deliver — reading, validating and routing it into your systems. For new EDI connections, it usually makes sense to work with an established EDI provider, and we integrate with them.

Is FusedAI based in Delta?

No. FusedAI is remote-first and works with businesses across Canada. Delta clients work with us over video calls and shared previews, just like everyone else.
