Chilliwack sits at the eastern end of the Fraser Valley along Highway 1, surrounded by farmland and mountains. Agriculture is a major part of the economy — dairy, poultry, field crops and the sweet corn the area is known for — and the city is a gateway to Cultus Lake, Chilliwack Lake and the Chilliwack River valley.
The former Canadian Forces Base Chilliwack has been redeveloped into Canada Education Park, home to a University of the Fraser Valley campus and other training institutions, alongside new residential neighbourhoods.
Much of Chilliwack’s business activity is seasonal or local: campgrounds, rentals and attractions busy in summer; farms with harvest peaks; trades and home services keeping up with growth. These businesses need reliable websites and booking more than complex systems, and they benefit most from automations that handle the busy season without extra staff.
